SMI Annual Physical Health Checks

Annual health checks for people with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or psychosis

If you have a diagnosis of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or psychosis, you are entitled to a free Annual Physical Health Check at our practice.

This check helps monitor your physical health and can help to spot any problems early, so you can get the right support as soon as possible.

It also gives you the opportunity to talk about your wellbeing and any medication side effects.

Appointments usually last 30–45 minutes, and you can bring someone with you if that helps.

Find out more about what the check involves: lpft.nhs.uk/smi-annual-health-check
